Tattoo Ticket
**Please read the ENTIRE description BEFORE purchasing**
Firstly, if you're considering getting one of my existing artworks permanently added to your skin, please know that I'm sincerely honored!
A "tattoo ticket" serves as permission for a tattoo artist to use my artwork as a reference or inspiration for a tattoo, and it also shows your support for my work. If you simply copy or screenshot an image of my art to send to a tattoo artist, and that artist completes the tattoo for you, you've 1) stolen my artwork, and 2) enabled another artist to profit off of my work without any compensation to me. This would be incredibly disrespectful and I would not think highly of you nor your tattoo artist. In my experience, a reputable tattoo artist would only tattoo another artist's work if the client has explicit permission from the other artist to do so. Purchasing a tattoo ticket is an easy way to do just that!
I kindly ask that you purchase the tier that matches the artwork you would like to get tattooed. The reason my ceramics tier is more expensive is because the price of materials for making ceramics is greater than a drawing, painting, or sticker; therefore, a ceramic piece is a more costly reference than a flat illustration.
Each ticket allows the use of ONE piece of my art to use as a reference and/or inspiration for a tattoo.
After purchasing a ticket, you will receive an email with written permission to use my art for a tattoo - you can provide this to your tattoo artist during the booking process. This means you are granted the right to use my art for your personal use only; you are NOT granted the right to use my art for any commercial use. If you need clearer reference images, please send me an email with your order number and a screenshot of the artwork, and I will do my best to locate additional images for you (sometimes I only have one image of each artwork).
Please keep in mind:
- This listing is for a digital ticket that provides permission to use existing artwork for a tattoo, and for additional images if possible. This listing is NOT a commission form nor is it a custom tattoo design. You will not be receiving any physical product in the mail.
- I am NOT a tattoo artist; images and lines can translate very differently between paper, canvas, and human skin. Therefore, my designs may not be suitable to be exactly copied onto human skin. If this is the case, your tattoo artist may suggest changes to the design to better fit the healing process of your tattoo.
- Even if your tattoo artist makes changes to my design, you are still using my design as inspiration, so it is expected that you still purchase a tattoo ticket
If you decide to get my artwork tattooed, please tag @artesstry if it is posted on Instagram! I would really love to see it and share your tattoo artist's work!
